The specialized light produced by this laser is absorbed by the pigment, destroying it, and resulting in lightening or complete elimination of the targeted spots. In most cases, only one to two treatments are required for optimal results. Removal of spots with MedLite C6 Laser may produce darkened or scaly areas where the treatment has been performed, which lasts from a few days to 2 weeks.
