The unique technology of the Sciton Laser allows for precise selection of the depth of each peel, depending on the severity of the conditions. During the procedure, a hand held computerized device delivers the laser beams into the deeper layers of the skin. This process eliminates damaged skin cells, making way for the immediate growth of new skin. A topical anesthetic is used to reduce any discomfort during the procedure. You will experience some degree of redness and slight peeling for 2-5 days following your MicroLaser Peel. A series of peels may be recommended in order to maximize the outcome.
